Itinerary

  • Day 1: Hanoi

    On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 2: Hanoi

    Enjoy a morning city tour of Hanoi’s main sights before a delicious lunch at a lively local restaurant serving typical traditional dishes of Northern Vietnam. In the evening, travel by cyclo to a fine dining restaurant set in a beautifully restored French villa.  

  • Day 3: Hanoi – Hue

    Fly to Hue and join a dragon boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and stop by the imposing Imperial Citadel. In the evening, travel by cyclo to a local restaurant for dinner. Food in Hue has imperial roots with impeccable presentation.  

  • Day 4: Hue – Hoi An

    Visit Tu Duc's Tomb before heading to Hoi An, a tour highlight. On arrival, try the local specialty, Cau Lau, a delicious noodle dish. Take an afternoon walking tour of the UNESCO Heritage old town and conclude the day with dinner in a meticulously restored colonial property.  

  • Day 5: Hoi An

    Start your day with a guided tour of Hoi An’s market before a short boat cruise to the Red Bridge Cooking School, one of Vietnam’s finest. Learn about the herbs, spices, local ingredients and the art of food decoration. Follow the chef’s demonstration before tasting your delights. Take some free time in the afternoon.  

  • Day 6: Hoi An – Saigon

    Visit the famous China Beach and pass sacred Marble Mountain. Lunch is at a local Danang restaurant before your flight to Saigon. Enjoy dinner at a local specialty restaurant.  

  • Day 7: Saigon

    Take an early morning drive to the Vietnam Cookery Centre and accompany a professional chef to the market to buy food. Learn the history and culture of food in Vietnam and cook a number of traditional dishes in time for lunch. In the afternoon, tour the city before dinner in one of Saigon’s best-known restaurants.  

  • Day 8: Saigon

    Conclude your tour with a transfer to the airport.
